Privacy

What information this website collects, why it is used, and how to request removal.

Information we collect

When you join the mailing list, we collect your email address and, when provided, your first and last name. The website also uses a one-way hash of the requesting IP address for short-term rate limiting; the IP address is not added to the mailing list.

How we use it

We use mailing-list information to send release announcements, show information, new videos and occasional band updates; process unsubscribe or deletion requests; prevent duplicate subscriptions; and protect the form from abuse.

Where information is stored

Mailing-list entries are stored in a private Google Sheet through Google Apps Script and are managed by Daffodil Telephone Entertainment. The website is hosted by Namecheap. These service providers process information only as needed to provide hosting, form delivery and spreadsheet storage.

Retention

Active mailing-list information is kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Failed submissions may be placed in a private recovery queue for no more than 30 days and are then deleted. Rate-limit records expire after approximately one hour.

Sharing and sale

We do not sell or rent mailing-list information. Information may be disclosed to service providers described above or when required to comply with law, protect the website or respond to a valid legal request.

Cookies and embedded services

The site does not currently use advertising or audience-analytics cookies. Embedded services such as YouTube, Spotify, Adobe Fonts and external merchandise or social platforms may apply their own privacy practices when their content or links are used.

Unsubscribe or request deletion

Email unsubscribe@secondpaloma.com to stop mailing-list messages. For access, correction or deletion questions, email secondpalomaband@gmail.com.

Security

We use access controls, HTTPS, private server-side configuration and restricted storage locations to reduce unauthorized access. No method of online transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page when the website or mailing-list process changes. The current version is effective August 3, 2026.
